Rahu Kethu's / Family / Eclipse

Asuras were Diti's sons.

1. Chief among them were Hiranyakasipu and Hiranyaksa. They had a sister named Sirhhika.
2. Sirnhika married Vipracitti; Swarbhanu (Rahu and Ketu) were born to them.
3. Hiranyakasipu had four sons-Anuhl ada, Hlada, Prahlada and Sarhhlada who were famous for their glory and might.
4. Surapadma, Simhavaktra, Tarakasura, Gomukha and Ajamukha were also Diti's sons. Of them, Surapadma had four sons by his wife Mayasuta, who were Bhanukopa, Agnimuk ha, Vajrabahu and Hiranya. An asura named Mahasfira was born to Sirirhavaktra by his wife, Vibhdti.
5. The Asuras, Sambara, Sakuni, Dvimurdha, Sanku, Asva, were the sons of Hiranyaksa.
6. Sarnhlada, the son of Hiranyakas ipu had three sons, Ayusman, Sfibi and Bask ala.
7. Virocana was the son of Prahlada; Mahabali was the son of Virocana; Bana wa s born to Mahabali and to Bana were born four crores of Nivatakavacas.

All these were the prominent children of Did. Besides them, Diti had crores of other Asur as born to her. (Visnu Purana, Part 1, Chapter 3; Harivarirsa, Chapter 3).
